WHAT HAPPENS WHEN USING THE WEBSITE FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY?

If you use our websites (https://www.gogosrealty.com/) for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register as a user or otherwise provide information, we collect the following data from you: IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transmitted in each case, website from which the request comes, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software, server location. We receive this data via cookies and directly from your browser. The purpose of this processing is the provision of our website as well as the statistical evaluation. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1), first sentence, lit. f GDPR, according to which the processing of personal data is also possible without the data subject's consent if the processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the data controller or a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data prevail, in particular if the data subject is a child. The aforementioned purposes are in our interest. If we use cookies, we refer to our explanations under "How do we use cookies on our websites".

For clients who have signed listing agreements to buy, sell or rent with our company, we use the necessary data required for the lawful execution of these agreements which are according to the preferences you have indicated to us.

 

HOW DO WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

(1) Except for the case of executing the services according to the listing agreements you have signed with our company (as buyers, sellers, tenants or landlords of properties), and always according to the law, we use your personal information for providing updates and better services to you, according to your needs and preferences. Whenever and wherever we gather, process and use your personal data, we take all the technical and organizational precautions to secure that this information is used safely and in compliance with the regulations of European and national Laws. In reference to the time (duration) which we use or keep your information, this is ten (10) years unless otherwise indicated in our agreements, or by the law, or finally if you decide to change your consent.

(2) We do not give your personal information to any third party nor do we send it outside of Greece. We may give your personal information to a third party only in relation to the legal agreement between us, or in order to follow your instructions, or in order to process a payment, always keeping the security for the protection of your information, as required by the law and by the GDPR policy we follow. Except the above, we may use and make known your personal information in cases when we are required to do so by law or when it is necessary for our legal interests, always making sure that all guarantees for the security and protection of your personal information have been taken as required by law and by the protection policy we follow.

How do we store, use, share and disclose our site visitors' personal information?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN USING OUR CONTACT FIELD?

When you communicate with us on our website (https://www.gogosrealty.com/) via our contact fields, we collect the following data as mandatory fields: First name, last name, company, e-mail address and your message as well as optional position, street and house number, postcode, city, country and telephone number. Only you know the reasons for contacting us; the reaction to this immediately describes the purpose of the processing. Where a specific obligation is involved, whether in connection with the initiation, implementation or termination, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In this case we store the data until the end of the legal retention period. In all other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1), first sentence f, GDPR, which allows the processing of personal data without the data subject's consent if processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the data controller or a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data prevail, in particular where the data subject is a child. Communication outside a contractual relationship is in our mutual interest. We store your data until the purpose resulting from the legitimate interest has been fulfilled

 

HOW DO WE USE GOOGLE ANALYTICS?

(1) Our website (https://www.gogosrealty.com/) use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. "("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. HOW DO WE USE SOCIAL MEDIA PLUGINS?

(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Twitter, LinkedIn. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, the data referred to in paragraph 3 shall be transmitted. By activating the plug-in, personal data is transferred from you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). If we send you a download link (which may be password-protected) to access very large amounts of data, we will use a local Synology DiskStation located in a secure location. Your access behaviour is not evaluated by us.
